Does anyone happen to know what this means "load needed dlls for kernel"???

Its an error sign I get when I try to start up my computer... I've been doing some searches to see what it could be and how it could be fixed but basically I'm stumped because I don't get the computer tech lingo!

Its sad because until I get it fixed I won't be able to write up articles or do anything... most of my important files are thankfully loaded in my USB but there are a few things I wouldn't like to lose...

Any ideas? *cough*Mike*cough*

Never mind, got it fixed! Well sorta, that message wouldn't go away so I did a system recovery to get it started again and it worked but I've got some files deleted...nothing on Itunes either Oh well, I didn't lose anything that I'm freaking out about, just thankful I can actually get on it.

...This'll teach me to back EVERYTHING up!

Sorry, I just saw this ... DLL files are "Dynamic Link Libary" files that execute commands when you ask your computer to do something. Maleware and spyware can effect your dll files and make stuff STOP working.

I would have suggested you restart in safemode then click on RUN and enter "cmd" then type: chkdsk /r

If that didnt do it, install Malwarebytes and run it in safemode w/ networking. Then install Spybot 1.6 and run it too. It would have saved your files ... (oooops).

Maybe I should PM you my phone number "just in case"!!!!

Oh its ok, I tried to see if I could get into the boot menu (F1 I think?) but I didn't know (or remember?) the password!LOL. Since I have most of the important stuff backed up in my flash I didn't worry too much about loosing a few files. The main thing that I lost that I will miss are my Itunes library and a few game emulators...but thats it. We never really stored much on it anyways. Anything I saved in my C Drive was saved though....I'd been working on an RPG that took me HOURS to design and I just about cried when I figured out that it was still saved

As the system begins to "power up" you begin to press the F8 key. I usually continue to hit it every few seconds until I see the black screen. Then use the arrow keys to move the curser to the right line on the page. (think dos)

Every computer is a little different, so you may have to try it, pressing the key at different paces.

weird..not sure what that means..hope it'll be ok!
i hate when weird glitchy thnigs happen.. used to happen on my old computer a lot but i just recently got a new one. good luck!

Hehe yeah Schnauzky, a tad annoying...I'm just glad I got it up and running again...dunno what I'd do without a computer!
