Well I went to my mom's friends house today she had a gift for my mom and she owns this schnazer/poodle mix named Shiba. Well, the dog has always been scared of me and I couldn't understand why. She wouldn't let me pet her or anything, well we go over today ( first time since dan and i broke up) and basically she runs over to me, and I pet her for the first time and she licks me all over, she wan't scared. Like as if she sensed I was in danger with dan? Anyway the story gets wierder...I was using my laptop there talking to my friends and I see this new photo of Daniel and I start to cry, and at the same time my moms friend was showing my mom tricks sheba knew how to do and had dog treats in her hand. Well suddenly she comes running over to me and jumps on me and starts licking me and letting me pet her until I forget about him or the new photo and am fine again the goes back to her owner to get more treats. Wouldn't you figure a normal dog who is usually scared of you, and loved treats would ignore you?

Thats a dog for you! More in-tuned with people that most give them credit for!

Over the past 25 years I have noticed that dogs are VERY VERY good at picking out the bad ppl around me.

Chip loved everyone .... almost! Once a guy stopped by to talk to a guy who was helping me with a project I was doing in my shop. As the guy got out of his car, Chip begain to bark and his hair stood straight up. He begain to snarl, so I told my friend to go out to talk to his friend. About 6 months later the visitor got busted for B&E and assult.

Neka and Patchs have also held ppl off that they didnt trust.

The moral of this story is: Always trust your dog, they do not have any Alterior Motives for thier actions!!!

Yep, although I wish star would show some love/affection like Sheba did for me. But star cannot sit still or be in one place for long without needing to move.

Same for Junior! He's definitely not one to sit in your lap when you are sad, if he decides to come and sit by your feet, thats his way of demonstrating affection.lol.

Neka is kind of a loner most of the time. When she DOES want to show me affection, she will come over and sit by me, or put her paws in my lap and give me kisses on my hands or arms. If I return the affection (I always do) by scratching her around the ears or scruff her neck, she will break into full face kisses and moan/grown with enjoyment.
