http://tinyurl.com/2bsjcov "four pounds of hope: not exactly as planned."
* 4# shelter-rescue in the front-seat of a car - unrestrained? * then on the DRIVER's LAP - directly in front of the airbag! :scared:
for safety's sake, please belt that pet if U love them - use an airline-approved shipping crate, belted on the seat or stable on the floor [between seat-back and seat, or in a wheel-well, or behind a cargo-screen, or CLIPPED to a floor-anchor - but secured somehow] - or use a seat-belt and harness which does *not* stretch or roll-out.
:thumb-up: seat-belts and crates save lives --- and limbs.
if U have photos of dangerous or potentially-hazardous pet scenarios, feel free to add them.

U are going to **love!** this - remember the lady who pulled the dog from the shelter?... she said she would "crate the dog in the future", basically? well at approx 6:30-pm she posted an irritated message from her Android phone, something like, "thanks a lot, Hope - U brat!" then there was silence until about 7:15-pm, while several folks asked, what happened? the foster-dog pooped in the car - which means she was Not Crated, see what happens?... nervous dog, new food, new experiences, too much - Oops!
if she'd been crated, no muss - no fuss! :p that'll larn her...

Hehehe I don't think my dog could sit in my lap in the car even if he wanted to! Too big But yeah, good reminder, that its not safe to put pooches in our laps while driving and its better to crate and buckle than to have them just sitting there.
