My name is Edith and I live in the retirement town of Green Valley AZ. I have always loved dogs, but my last Golden Retriever Sarah was so special that I miss her terribly. I do have a new Golden, Sophi who was born in July 2011. I’m not biased, but I think she’s a wonderful puppy on earth. I joined K9academy because I became interested in some of the more academic aspects of dogs. I volunteered to teach a class at our local senior learning program, affiliated with the University of Arizona. My class is “Intriguing New Theories about Dogs and Humans.” Now that we Green Valley folks are retired, we have more time to explore all kinds of new interests. For me, this means learning more about dogs, dogs and more dogs. I first came across an article by Steven L: “Alpha Theory: Why it doesn’t work,” and wanted to share this with other people. It also made me want to read more and more.
