I am just starting out grooming and of course my second dog is more than I can handle!! He will only let me cut his body. His legs will not stop pulling and dancing the entire time I try to groom him, and he tries biting me any chance he gets. I was able to have someone hold him for a while, but he just would not stand still. I didn't want to muzzle him because he has "spells" when he has been through a lot of stress. Luckily, this is a friends dog, so they said I could come back tomorrow to finish him up. Any advice for dogs like this? I feel so discouraged and upset with myself. This is a miniature poodle, if that helps anyone with their advice. Thanks in advance!
