This isnt really a rant, other than I AM SO BORED of the **** I hear on "mainstream" radio these days ...

From time to time I find myself in a "Music Rut" that is hard to get out of. So I recently began looking for new artists to listen to.

In the course of my search, I recently found a site called "THE RADIO.com" It has a lot of stuff I havent heard before, and Ive found several bands that I really like!!!

BTW, It kinda reminds me of Jeff Healy.

I love blues/rock, and if you liked those, I'd suppose you do too.

Walter Trout's vocals are better, but a really awesome blues guitarist is Joe Bonamassa. You should look him up.

If you want more names I can give them to you. There are blues guitarists that put Jeff Healy to shame!

Here's one of the best guitar players I've ever heard. Hard to find videos of him, but his CD's are easy enough to find. He plays more blues than anything else but this video certainly shows what he can do.

I have a few songs by Joe Bonamassa that I got from a friend's collection. I also have Johnny lang, BB King, Eric Clapton, Jack Falk Project and a few others ... I would love to get a bunch more, so some names would help me alot.

My favorite genre of music is alternative, soft rock and 80's... I honestly don't have a band I listen too...I just like the music or I don't it doesn't really matter by who it is. On the radio the only station I listen to is 104.3 but sometimes on the internet I listen to french music at radio.syxy.com. Hehe I'm glad you and Ann have similar tastes because I don't think ours will match too much.lol. Embarassed

Actually my taste in music is ALL over the place. Disco, Rap and Hip Hop are the only things that I really cant stand!!!

Well, having an I-pod helps...they just seem a tad complicated to me.lol.
