We went to Wolf Park last night. Saw wolf pups and got to howl with the wolves! I wanted to get video of what a wolf sounds like howling alone. You can hear coyotes in the background, but Woton gave me a little of what I was hoping for.

That's pretty cool ... we have a small zoo in town but we are a biye short in the k9 separtment. All we have is a pair of foxes ...
But I DO get to listen to Neka howl at the police cars when they go by with the siren on!!!

At Wolf Park they do studies on wolf behavior and also educate the public. It's not really a zoo. The 4 wolf packs roam on an old farm...I'm guessing several hundred acres are fenced in for them. A professor at Purdue University started it in the 1980's.

Thats really neat! I've heard that they have a wolf park in our neighboring Native American Reserve, I haven't actually been there.
I get to hear coyote howls often, but I do love the deeper tone of a wolf's howl

Wow sounds great. I get to hear coyotes all the time, almost but do not think there are any wolves joining in. But there are wolves in my area and lots of wild dogs!
