Great info Steven!!! There is 5 of these 10 items in the areas that my dog's play every day. My dog's dont tend to eat or chew on anything (except grass) but I still watch them as close as possible when they are off leash.

Thanks Mike, hope it helps.

The sago palm and oleander are super common around here, especially oleander (everywhere you turn you find at least a shrub), not sure why its so common to use in landscaping...probably becaue it covers well...

Glad you found it helpful! But yes it often surprises us that we have plants that could potentially make our pets sick... I know I was!

Thanks for posting this helpful information, Steve. Never knew about the tomato. Is it the leaves that was said to be poisonous?

I hope my dog doesn't eat one of those things. Wow! Can tomato really be a poison to dogs? What if he ingested one of those plants? How can you treat poisoning?

Your welcome Smile The plant itself seems to be toxic not the actual fruit.

Best bet would be to take the dog to the vet as they would know what to do based on what it was they ingested and how long ago it was ingested. After a certain point things like causing the dog to vomit won't help, and may not even be recommendable.
