Hi and welcome! I'm just a dog owner. I was for many years (and maybe still am) committed to adopting Rotties from shelters when no one else was interested in giving them a home. I have only one now, and he was not a shelter dog, but was my very first puppy ever. I just recently adopted a Rough Collie girl. Glad to have you hear. Not a super busy forum but helpful and friendly!

Welcome to K9A ... I've been around dogs and worked with dogs for most of my life. I could really get into doing it for a living, but there isn't much money in it.

I currently share my home with Patchs, a very high energy pointer/healer mix. My quest in life is also to better understand dog behavior. But my most current project is to teach and make people understand that the bond between dog and owner is the most important thing you can do to raise a well behaved dog.
